ANIMAL PROTEIN · ILLUSTRATION, NOT A LOT PHOTOGRAPH

Chicken liver powder is made from fresh liver taken directly from the slaughterhouse, then cured at 105 to 110 degrees Celsius under 1.1 to 1.2 kg pressure and dried in two steam stages. The low-temperature drying preserves the protein and the hygiene indicators that harsher rendering destroys.

The result is strongly attractant. Chicken liver powder is rich in free amino acids that stimulate feeding behaviour, which makes it valuable in starter diets and in aquaculture where intake drives growth rate. Combined crude protein and crude fat exceed 75%.

It contains little connective tissue protein or collagen, so the amino acid profile is balanced and digestion and absorption are high. Pepsin digestibility is guaranteed at 93% minimum. Production follows food-grade steam sterilisation in line with FDA export standards.

Where it is used

  • Shrimp and fish feed, where attractancy drives intake and feed conversion
  • Piglet creep and starter diets to encourage early feed intake
  • Poultry feed as a partial replacement for imported fish meal
  • Premium pet food as a palatant

Formulation note

Good fluidity and no agglomeration, so it mixes cleanly without a carrier. Antioxidant is added during the screw-belt mixing stage before packing.
